Job responsibilities
The Investment Analyst role offers an exciting opportunity to develop a valuable skill set essential for becoming an effective investor. The selected candidate will be actively involved throughout the investment cycle, from initial research and analysis to the execution of new deals, active asset management during the hold period, and eventual exits. While based in Santiago, Chile, the job provides a unique opportunity to gain exposure to the U.S. market, working closely with other team members in a collaborative environment. Key responsibilities include developing models to assess transaction economics, collecting and analyzing market information to identify market trends and potential opportunities, supporting value-enhancing opportunities for managed assets, as well as preparing presentations for investors and internal committees.

Specific job requirements
a) Develop complex financial models: levered and unlevered IRR, financing options, structured cash flows, etc.
b) Collaborate with the investments team throughout the underwriting process by analyzing deal economics, identifying key value drivers, main risks and potential mitigants
c) Support asset management efforts by maintaining up-to-date models/files that track investment performance versus underwriting, as well as detecting potential issues and actionable insights
d) Create polished presentations for internal decision-makers and external investors, as well as other deal-specific and company-wide marketing materials
e) Source, gather, and organize relevant market data in Excel to stay informed of market dynamics
f) Demonstrate technical and aesthetical mastery of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
j) Exhibit strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
k) Familiarity with alternative investment, real estate and/or private debt is a plus, but not necessary
l) Demonstrate business-level proficiency in English and Spanish
