We are looking to hire interns in our office in Santiago to help us to provide technical advice to our clients on some of the most high-profile cases before local and international competition authorities, regulators, and courts.

About the role:
We pride ourselves on providing Interns with an opportunity to make a significant impact from day one.
You will become an integral part of the team, with the crucial role of helping clients understand how competition works in their industry. You will contribute to cases in a variety of ways, working closely with senior staff to understand the client’s issues, relating them to economic theory, and supporting the analysis with empirical evidence. You may be working on both domestic and international assignments in collaboration with our colleagues across the world.
The length of the internship will depend on your requirements, and your availability to work full or part-time. Interns are expected to work at least 20 hours per week during the internship process.
Key responsibilities:
• Analyze qualitative and quantitative client data to understand how competition works in their industry.
• Review literature and contribute to discussions about theoretical and empirical analysis.
• Conduct data and econometric analysis.
• Audit empirical work.
• Draft reports summarizing analysis.

Skills/profile sought:
• Final or penultimate year students from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics or related field requiring analytical and quantitative research. Significant coursework in economics and econometrics is required.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Highly analytical and proactivity.
• Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Integrity and respect.
• Stata and Excel skills required, Python and R skills are a plus.

• Names and contact details of two people who have agreed to give references for you. If you are still studying or have recently graduated, your referees should be academic. If you have previous working experience, the references can be either academic or from past employers.
