Job Description:
Moonvalley Capital, is seeking an Investment Banking Vice President to join the team. Moonvalley Capital is an investment bank focused and engaged in high-profile M&A, capital raising and strategic advisory transactions across different stages. The engagements are in a variety of industries such as: Energy, Infrastructure, Consumer, Industrials, Media, among others. Some of the engagements involve several countries in Latin America, where we are acting on behalf of high-profile multinational or regional clients.

Key Responsibilities:
The Vice President will play a central role in the execution and origination of investment banking mandates, working closely with Partners and senior clients across M&A, debt advisory, equity raising, and strategic advisory transactions in Latin America. The role combines hands-on execution with increasing responsibility in client management, business development, and team leadership.

VP role will include:
• Lead and coordinate financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling for ongoing transactions
• Conduct market research and strategic analysis to identify business opportunities and support transactions
• Prepare and oversee the development of marketing materials (teasers, CIM, management presentations, others)
• Coordinate and manage due diligence processes, working with clients, legal advisors, and other external parties
• Actively support origination efforts, including identification, analysis, and pursuit of new business opportunities
• Develop and expand client relationships, maintaining direct interaction with senior management and key stakeholders
• Strengthen and manage relationships with international advisory firms, investors, and strategic partners
• Lead and mentor junior team members, ensuring high analytical standards and efficient execution

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s in business and administration, Economics or Civil Engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant experience (Ideally in Investment Banking and/or Corporate Finance)
• Strong passion for investment banking with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Proven experience leading teams and managing workstreams in a transaction environment
• Knowledge and experience in financial modelling
• Highly autonomous, responsible, persistent, dynamic, proactive and with excellent interpersonal skills. Someone that likes to work outside of its comfort zone with an entrepreneur spirit
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Advanced level of English (oral and written) is a must.
