Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated university student to join our Operations Department as an intern, supporting a key project for trade finance product. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international banking operations, process testing, and financial messaging.
Main Responsibilities
• Test Case Creation: Develop comprehensive test cases to validate the end-to-end process in the banking system.
• System Testing: Execute the test cases within the operational test system, documenting results and reporting any discrepancies or issues found.
• Accounting Review: Perform post-process review of related accounting entries, ensuring accuracy and consistency with established protocols for the test cases.
• SWIFT Message Verification: Review and verify SWIFT messages generated for these transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and alignment with the transaction details.
• Collaboration: Work closely with operations staff, IT teams, and project leads to support the successful rollout of the process.
• Reporting: Assist in the preparation of periodic progress reports, highlighting key findings from testing, accounting, message reviews and related regulatory reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, International Settlement and Trade Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Interest in banking operations, financial processes, and international trade documentation.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles is an advantage.
• Willingness to learn about SWIFT messaging and banking systems.
• Effective communication and documentation skills.

Duration and Location
